Privacy
Effective November 5, 2026
If you visit the site
- There are no accounts, no advertising, no analytics or tracking scripts, and no cookies set by this site.
- The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser, and pages requested) to operate and secure the service, under Vercel's privacy policy.
- If you send a correction, what you write and the program you choose are stored as an issue in the project's private tracker on GitHub, so the request can be reviewed and resolved. The form doesn't ask for your name or email. Please don't include private information.
If you're listed on a program page
Program pages can show the publication record of a program's leadership (program director, associate program directors, core faculty), as published on the program's own website and matched to public publication records in OpenAlex. Only professional information is used: name, program role, and published papers. No contact details, photos, or personal information are collected.
- Trainees are never listed by name. Residents and fellows count toward program-level totals, such as the share of trainees who have published, but no page names or identifies them.
- You can opt out. Choose “Please don't list me” on the corrections form. You'll be removed from the page and your name removed from the site's records. Your published work still counts toward program totals, as with aggregate citation counts on other scholarly sites.
- Wrong matches (someone else's papers attributed to you, or yours missing) can be reported the same way.
Data we don't sell
Nothing about visitors is sold or shared for advertising. The publication data shown on the site comes from open sources and is presented as research information about programs.
Children
The site is for people applying to medical training and isn't directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date. Questions or requests can be sent through the corrections form.
